For the first time in club history, the club voted to purchase a project airplane.  The airplane is Wally Olson's old Taylorcraft BC-12D, N43387.  This is one of Wally's old trainer planes that many pilots at Evergreen have flown at one time or another.

The idea behind the purchase is to allow club members to learn about various aspects of restoring antiques/classics.  The purchase was proposed by the Executive Board.  It was their desire to get more members involved in different club activities. The project is almost complete, with a newly rebuilt engine.  There are only minor details left to finish.
