Fly-out to Mexico - April 2004

The week of Sunday, April 18th, our President, Glenn Siemer and Executive Board member, Jim Breuer, along with Vice-President Larry Charneski, his wife Lynn and daughter, Alanya flew from Evergreen field in Vancouver into Mexico.  They flew approximately 3000 miles and had the adventure of their lives.  Glenn flew his Cherokee 180 and Larry flew his Mooney.  Here are some pictures of their trip.

Stuck in Weed, CA. for the night due to weather - In Mexico you must have 12" #'s so Glenn used blue masking tape

"Palapas" are like rigid tents that you stay in for $20 per night per bunk.  No running water and generator off at 8:30 pm - These are the only accommodations available.  The group stayed 2 nights.

Punta San Francisquito used to be a Club Med type resort but failed.  It is now a fishing camp.
