Before NWAAC left Evergreen Field, the club voted to purchase a project airplane. The airplane was Wally Olson's 1946 Taylorcraft BC-12D, N43387. This is one of Wally's old trainer planes that many pilots at Evergreen have flown at one time or another. The idea behind the purchase is to allow club members to learn about various aspects of restoring antiques/classics. The purchase was approved by the membership. This beautiful airplane has now been almost completely restored . We are asking $25,000 or best offer. Dan Beltrami has offered to answer further questions regarding this aircaft. His phone is 503/622-6420 or e-mail him at daniel_beltrami@hotmail.com.
This aircraft is:
- Almost completely restored with a rebuilt 85 hp engine
- A fast 2 seater with low fuel consumption
- In the light sport aircraft category - no medical needed
