NWAAC Fly-in 2009
The Northwest Antique Airplane Club will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year at Pearson Field Airport located in Vancouver, Washington. This was also the home of their very first fly-in in 1960. The following year, and until 2002, the Fly-in was held at Evergreen Field located on Mill Plain Blvd in Vancouver. Due to the closing of Evergreen Field, the Fly-in relocated to McMinnville, Oregon until this year. Because of phenomenal community support and encouragement, we have decided to bring our 50th Anniversary celebration back to "our home" in Vancouver. The Mayor of Vancouver, Royce Pollard will be opening the event on Friday, August 14th at noon. MANY THANKS TO THE CITY OF VANCOUVER, PEARSON FIELD AIRPORT, FORT VANCOUVER HISTORICAL RESERVE AND THE CITIZENS OF VANCOUVER!
