Pearson Field Airport

We want to thank the City of Vancouver, Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, National Park Service, Pearson Air Museum and the Aviation Advisory Committee for their wonderful support and cooperation in making this event possible!

Bi -plane rides will be available to the public - Cost: Adults $65/pp - Kids 12 and under $45/pp - Solo passenger is $95

A children's area is immediately west of the museum and the large tent (40 x 80.)   It is sponsored by Game Crazy who will be offering wii games & more.  There will also be bi-plane pedal cars for children to ride in & enjoy.

Saturday, August 15th - 8 am - Pilot briefing by Willy Williamson (City airport manager) under the large tent (40 x 80) immediately west of the museum

Saturday, August 15th at Fort Vancouver National Historic Reserve will be the Food allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) Walk - Moving towards a cure.  It will begin at the Reserve with sign up at 9:30 am and the walk at 10 am - Click here for more information!

Saturday, August 15th - 10 am - Dan Beltrami - Our NW Antique Airplane Club restoration director will be giving a seminar on restoring our club T-craft.   If you'd like to learn more about restoring old aircraft, this is the seminar to attend.  Location is in hangar immediately next to/south of Pearson museum/hangar.

Saturday, August 15th - 11 am - Jeff Jacobs, local attorney, will be providing information on procuring your aviation sport license, that recently became available.  Location is in hangar immediately next to/south of Pearson museum/hangar.

Saturday, August 15th from noon - 4 pm - Thanks to the Port of Portland, there will be free ice cream given away to all guests at the fly-in.  The Port is also hosting a Wilbur & Orville look alike contest with MC Drew Carney of KGW Channel 8 at 1 pm on Saturday!  Click here for more Port info!

Saturday, August 15th - 2 pm & 4 pm - Spruce Mill Trail tour between Pearson Museum & Fort Vancouver Historical Site.  Tour guides will be on hand at 2 pm & 4 pm for all those interested in learning a little more about the history of Vancouver.

Saturday, August 15th at 6 pm - There will be an Old time Vintage Baseball game with authentic uniforms, etc. being played just north of the airport, across the street in the park.  For more info, click here!

Saturday, August 15th - Pilots Awards Banquet at 6 pm - Click here for info on Swing Squadron with Vanessa Jump-Nelson who will be performing after the awards banquet around 7:30 pm for a couple hours.
